LLH Tourney participants

A total of 122 players competed in the second annual Land Harbor “Welcome Back” Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 22.

The second annual Land Harbor “Welcome Back” Tournament included 122 golfers who participated on the 18-hole Land Harbor Course on Saturday, June 22.

The rain held off for one of the largest golf tournaments held at Land Harbor which included owners, members and guests. Tournament format was individual handicapped scores, with prizes being awarded for men’s and ladies nine-hole and 18-hole low gross, low net, closest to the pin and longest drives.

Land Harbor Golf Course is member owned but open for public play. The mountain golf course boasts 18 challenging holes of golf with its tree-lined fairways, water features and manicured condition. The layout follows the natural contours of the land, which creates the perfect setting for a strong test of golf. Green speed is maintained at a fast and fair pace, as the design combines a variety of undulating and level putting surfaces.

Prizes were awarded to the following players:

Ladies 18 Hole: Low gross winner —Loey Grader; Low net winner — Mo Welling; Long Drive winner — Ann Francis.

Ladies 9 Hole: Low gross winner — Pam Aiken; Low net winner — Laura Barnett; Long drive winner — Laura Barnett; Closest to the pin winner — Kerry Pado.

Men’s 18 Hole: Low gross winner — Roger Ciskei; Low net winner — BC Roberts; Long driver winner — Frank Fulgham; Closest to the pin winner — Clay Brooks.

Men’s 9 Hole: Low gross winner — Victor Grossman; Low net winner — Bill Bremser; Long drive winner — Joe Pado; Closest to the pin winner — Joe Pado.
