Trivette's bear story

Luke Trivette recently completed a writing assignment on bear hunting in his Pre-K class. Pictured is Trivette with his ‘hunting buddy,’ Dave Smith. ‘First we go somewhere to let the dogs loose. Then they run a bear. A bear runs somewhere,’ Trivette’s report reads. ‘If you see it, you have to get out in a road. One land is game land and one land is bear land. You have to hunt legally. If you see a bear, you go ‘Bam’ with a rifle. Then we go skin a bear out. Then we cook it up with a grill and eat it. If you miss a bear, you have to cut your shirttail out.’
