Library celebrates National ‘Take Your Child to the Library' Day

Saturday, Feb. 1, is National ‘Take Your Child To The Library Day.’ Come celebrate with us at the Avery County Morrison Public Library with games, a scavenger hunt, snacks and crafts! Take Your Child To The Library Day is a time for us to welcome and have some special fun with our youngest patrons. If you and your child already have library cards, come find some new books to check out from our special displays, or register for your first card. All activities are free, fun and family-friendly. Don’t be shy if you’re worried you may have an overdue fine lurking on your (or your child’s) account – we’ll be waiving fines to celebrate as long as all the items have been returned. Reading is for everybunny!
