Banner Elk School hosts Grandparents Day lunch

Banner Elk Elementary hosted the school’s third annual Grandparents Day Luncheon. More than 160 grandparents and loved ones attended lunch with students. “This is such a great day for our school. We love having vital stakeholders and members of our community in our school,” BES Principal Justin Carver said. “The excitement on each student’s eyes as they run to greet their grandparent for a special lunch is worth everything. I am so appreciative of how our community comes together to make special things happen for our students. BES Rocks!”
