Details for Instructor, Mathematics Position Available




Master's degree in Mathematics from a regionally accredited college or university, or Master's in Mathematics Education or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university with 18 graduate semester hours in mathematics. Teaching experience at a community college and using a learning management system to teach hybrid and distance education courses preferred. Instructor, Mathematics provides quality learning experiences within the classroom or distance learning setting; facilitates the learning process; advises and registers students; seeks professional development opportunities; maintains office hours according to institutional policy; completes required course assessments and documentation in an accurate and timely manner; attends departmental and college meetings, student activities, and contributes to the development of curriculum courses and programs. This is a nine-month position that teaches 15-22 contact hours per semester. This is a 9-month position working from mid-August to mid-May.
