Malachi Aaron Honeycutt, 29, of 2701 Cane Creek Road in Bakersville, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia by Captain R.V. Wiseman, K-9 Lt. J.D. English, and Detective A.D. Beam. Honeycutt was released on a $3,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 27, 2019.

Dustin Morgan Geouge, 28, of 566 Dale Road in Spruce Pine, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and carrying a concealed weapon by Captain R.V. Wiseman, K-9 Lt. J.D. English, and Detective A.D. Beam Geouge is being held in jail on a $4,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 27, 2019.

Patrick Byron Murphy Jr., no age given, of 22 Popular Grove Road in Burnsville, was charged with assault on a female by Sheriff Donald Street. Murphy is being held in jail without bond for Domestic Violence, and was scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 5, 2019.

Collen Trey Stover, 28, of 1000 University Blvd., Apt. A27, in Kingsport, Tenn., was charged with breaking and/or entering, larceny of a firearm, and larceny after breaking/and entering by Lt. Detective C.C. Hobson. Stover is being held in jail on a $25,000 secured bond, and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 27, 2019.

Amanda Garland, 30, of 524 Crimson Laurel Way Apt.1, in Bakersville, was charged with harassing phone calls by Deputy D.C. LaPlante. Garland was released on a $500 unsecured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 27, 2019.

Candice Hollifield Ayala, 33, of 49 Crabtree Acres in Spruce Pine, was charged with probation violation by Deputy D.S. Buchanan. Ayala is being held without bond, and was scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 11, 2019.

Darren Hughes, 29, of 345 Fairground Street, Apt. E-9, in Spruce Pine, was charged with failing to appear on misdemeanor larceny by Deputy D.S. Buchanan. Hughes is being held in jail on a $3,500 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 27, 2019.

Gregory Lee Morgan, Jr., 36, of 349 Fairground Street, Apt. E20 in Spruce Pine, waw charged with probation violation, injury to property, failure to appear on driving while license revoked, and no insurance by Deputy S.E. Davis. Morgan is being held in jail on a $9,500 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 27, 2019.

Kevin Brian Griffith, 41, of Veed Garland Road in Spruce Pine, was charged with failing to appear on possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and possession of firearm by felon by Deputy N.W. Bowman. Griffith is being jail on a $75,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 26, 2019.

Blake Andrew Brown, 20, of 255 Ledford Ridge Road in Bakersville, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia by Deputy N.W. Bowman. Brown was released on a $1,500 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 27, 2019.

James Arthur Gouge Jr., no age given, of 493 Locust Knob Tower Road in Bakersville, was charged with probation violation by Deputy N.W. Bowman. Gouge is being held in jail for 3 days without bond and no court date given.

Citation issued:

Vincent Owen Hudson, of 174 Hamburg Trail in Bakersville, was cited for simple possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
