Albert Knisley, 66, of 632 Turbyfill Road in Newland, was charged on July 15 with communicating threats and assault on a female.

Tyler Christian Long, 27, of 2099 Spanish Rd. in Newland, was charged on July 15 with failure to appear for second degree trespass (two counts), failure to appear for misdemeanor assault on a female, failure to appear for driving while license revoked not impaired rev and failure to appear for expired registration card/tag.

Charles Roger Tucker Jr., 36, of 2192 Goose Hollow Road in Newland, was charged on July 15 with possession of methamphetamine, injury to real property, driving while license revoked not impaired rev, failure to appear on misdemeanor, and child support.

Richard Levis Minford, 63, of 169 Hunters Point in Boone, was charged on July 16 with misdemeanor larceny.

Tammy Webb, 48, of 184 Davis Street in Elk Park, was charged on July 16 with order for arrest for failure to appear for driving while license revoked not impaired and order for arrest for failure to appear for canceled/revoked/suspended certificate tag.

Travis Wayne Scronce, 25, of 2933 Big Plumtree Creek Road in Newland, was charged on July 17 with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Taylor Marie Triplett, 22, of 2933 Big Plumtree Creek Road in Newland, was charged on July 17 with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Matthew Garret Carpenter, 28, of 119 Bald View Mtn. Road in Newland, was charged on July 18 with failure to appear for possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine and failure to appear for possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana.

Steven Wade Carpenter, 29, of 70 Cecil Lane in Newland, was charged on July 18 with misdemeanor larceny and failure to appear for misdemeanor larceny by changing price tag.

Casey Calhoun Shady, 39, of 320 Hardees Alley in Newland, was charged on July 18 with simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Carrie Elaine Townsend, 35, of 70 Cecil Lane in Newland, was charged on July 18 with resisting a public officer, misdemeanor school attendance law violation, failure to appear for larceny by changing price tag, and charged on July 19 with failure to comply with court order.

Gary Everett Brown, 48, of 84 Mariposa Lane in Banner Elk, was charged on July 20 with driving while impaired.
