Evan James Buchanan, 27, of 546 Waterside Dr. in Burnsville, was charged on June 25 with child support.

Joseph Lewis Norwood, 38, of 1068 Hickory Nut Hwy. in Banner Elk, was charged on June 26 with larceny of motor vehicle.

Destiny Dawn Roark, 29, of 490 Dry Branch Road in Mountain City, Tenn., was charged on June 26 with simple possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Christina Maire Snyder, 35, of 241 Millard Coper Ln. in Mountain City, Tenn., was charged on June 26 with sell methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

David Brian Triplett, 56, of 2846 Broadstone Road in Banner Elk, was charged on June 26 with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Robert Charles Fout, 46, of 19 N. Annes Street in Asheville, was charged on June 27 with parole violation.

Joshua Mark Oaks, 33, of 181 Oaks Valley Road in Roan Mountain, Tenn., was charged on June 27 with failure to appear for misdemeanor communicating threats.

Zachary Dwayne Webb, 30, of 529 Jerrys Creek Road in Newland, was charged on June 26 with aggravated possession of a controlled substance.

Jordan Lee Calloway, 25, of 2730 Tynecastle Hwy. in Banner Elk, was charged on June 28 with failure to appear for assault on a female.

Kendra Michelle Griffith, 35, of 54 Medie Lewis Lane in Newland, was charged on June 28 with domestic violence protection order violation.

Samuel Coye Hughes, 23, of 3185 Tynecastle Hwy. in Banner Elk, was charged on June 28 with failure to appear for failure to carry a driver’s license, failure to appear for reckless driving to endanger, failure to appear for speeding, and failure to appear for unsafe passing across yellow line.

Oscar William Sutton, 43, of 1434 Blevins Creek Road in Elk Park, was charged on June 28 with failure to appear for speeding, and charged on June 29 with failure to appear for misdemeanor possession of marijuana up to 0.5 oz.
